What will your tasks be?
As a Shipping Employee, you will be working at Banken Champignons BV in Wijchen. We are the Dutch branch of an international modern family business that grows, harvests, processes, packages, distributes (in cold storage) and sells fresh mushrooms worldwide.
You perform all common tasks in our Shipping department. With a hand scanner and a pallet truck, you collect the orders and prepare them for transport. You make sure that the fresh products for each customer are ready on the right pallet. You load the lorries yourself, perform a visual inspection before shipment, process the kegs and pallets. You will work in close cooperation with the Shipping Foreman, the Inspectors, the Quality Controller and your fellow Shipping Employees. In the absence of the Inspector and Shipping Foreman, you will sign the receipts for incoming and outgoing products. You will work on a rotational basis, including on some Saturdays and public holidays.

What you bring
- You have obtained a lower or intermediary secondary vocational education working and thinking level, through education and/or experience;
- You have experience with an electric pallet truck and hold a forklift driver’s license;
- You are flexible about (early) working hours;
- You are independent and proactive. In addition, you work accurately and are not afraid to ask questions when in doubt;
- You are able to quickly absorb knowledge of the different products, customers and the various requirements that are set;
- You have an interest in working with fresh products
- You can handle time pressure and keep a good overview;
- Experience with a hand scanner is a plus
